Job Description

THE COMPANY

Established in 2011, Golf Swing Systems are experts in supplying and installing bespoke manufactured indoor golf simulator studios for golf professionals and private residences. We manufacture golf practice enclosures, projection screens and mats as well as advising on and supplying the latest golf swing analysis technology.

Due to an exciting period of exceptional growth, we are building our team of high energy people. The role of E-Commerce Manager is a newly created role, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the company’s operations and growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This role will be absolutely pivotal in driving our e-commerce business and furthering our success. You will be responsible for managing the performance of our website you andl be focused on the day-to-day sales from the site and the longer-term digital strategy of the company.

Key responsibilities of the E-Commerce Manager include:

• Full management and maintenance of the company website, new product listings, photography, imaging and brand journey to help maximize site visits and conversion rates.
• Design, maintain and build our social media presence
• Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid promotions across all social channels. Daily interaction/engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn
• Direct marketing – establishing and growing the email and direct mail marketing plan to produce regular informative campaigns, analysing campaign performance and developing strategies for interactive database growth
• Creating engaging online content including blogs, graphics, and video
• Improving and expanding our promotion of products on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay
• Measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns in line with targets
• Analysis and reporting - develop regular insightful analysing & report website analytics and updating monthly business plan and targets
• Research of our own and competitors’ e-commerce trends and technologies to improve website performance
• Working with developers to integrate new technologies
• Collaboration with agencies and other third-party suppliers
• Managing marketing spend within agreed budgets

Person Specification

Important personal qualities the E-Commerce Manager should bring to the role include:

Education

• Ideally Degree level in Marketing or a related field

Experience required

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong online marketing background
• Demonstratable experience devising successful digital campaigns
• Understand the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and Search Engine Optimisation
• An interest in golf and knowledge of the industry would be advantageous but not essential

Technical Knowledge required

• Technical skills with good working knowledge of Magento, HTML, UX, Adobe photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Google Analytics, SEM Rush (or similar), Woo Commerce and Salesforce
• Good understanding of SEO practices

Salary Range: £37K - £43K

Benefits:

• 40 hours per week (flexibility to work from home, projects permitting)
• 20 days holiday (excluding bank holidays, with an additional 2 days over Christmas and New Year
